Kelly Morgan joined Family Care Physicians with over 13 years of nursing experience. Coming from a family of nurses, including her mom, Kelly has always known she wanted to be a nurse. Kelly graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy with her BSN in 2009. She then worked at Henry Ford on a telemetry step down unit from 2009-2015. In 2015, Kelly went to Michigan Medicine (formerly U of M) to work in their telemetry float pool.

While Kelly enjoyed 13 years of bedside nursing, she began to notice that she was only seeing a snapshot of her patients’ lives, and she realized that she wanted to be a part of the bigger picture. In 2018, Kelly enrolled at Purdue University Global to earn her MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her goal as a nurse practitioner is to build trusting relationships with her patients and play an active role in their health.

In her spare time, Kelly enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.
